

Joanie Baker
LawyerJoanie Baker focuses her practice on business and corporate law. She is involved in the various stages of commercial transactions, including corporate acquisitions, sales, reorganizations and financings.
The wide range of mandates she has taken part in since beginning her practice, as well as the diversity of the fields they cover, has given her a good understanding of the challenges faced by companies in their respective sectors. Joanie always listens carefully to her clients’ needs, and they appreciate her attention to detail and commitment to helping them achieve their goals.
During her university studies, Joanie worked as a law student in the legal department of a Canada-wide corporation, where she acquired knowledge in corporate law. She now sits on the Board of Directors of the Caisse Desjardins de Cap-Rouge–Saint-Augustin.

Financing
- Representation of the Citadelle Maple Syrup Producers’ Cooperative in a bank financing by the Fédération des caisses Desjardins du Québec
- Representation of the Fédération des caisses Desjardins du Québec and the National Bank of Canada in the joint financing of short-term assets for RPAO s.e.c. and its subsidiaries
