Marie-Pier Auger
LawyerMarie-Pier Auger practises litigation, primarily in the areas of civil and professional liability and insurance law.
She regularly provides legal opinions in these areas to help her clients find solutions and prevent litigation. She helps prepare litigation files and represents the interests of her diverse clientele—including professionals, product distributors in various industries, construction companies and insurers—before civil courts, both in defence and in subrogatory proceedings.
She also takes part in cases dealing with insurance coverage and in complex, long-term litigations involving a variety of issues.
Her academic path also led her to pursue studies in public communications, mainly public relations. Today, this experience has given her a thorough understanding of the communications challenges facing companies and enables her to offer clients strategic advice that takes this reality into account.
Marie-Pier plays an active role in the firm, sitting on various internal committees such as the Succession Plan Committee, and participating in the articling recruitment process.
