We are proud to share that our colleague and partner, Sophie Perreault, has been appointed Chair of the Québec Province Committee of the American College of Trial Lawyers (ACTL). Sophie was inducted into the ACTL as a Fellow in 2022 and served as Vice Chair of the Québec Province Committee in 2023 and 2024.
Recognized as the preeminent organization of trial lawyers in North America, the ACTL is comprised of lawyers who have mastered the art of trial advocacy and who have maintained the highest standards of ethical conduct, professionalism, and collegiality throughout their professional careers. Appointed from among the Fellows in their respective provincial sections, Province Committees, along with their State counterparts in the United States, form the backbone of the College and play a crucial role in nominating candidates for Fellowship and coordinating local outreach initiatives.
This latest recognition in Sophie’s already distinguished career, marked by success and respect from both sides of the bench, further cements her reputation for exceptional skill, vision, and leadership. These qualities, which we have long admired at Langlois, were at the heart of her appointment as Chair of our Board of Directors in 2022.
