Anthony Cloutier is a lawyer in the Litigation group at the Québec City office. He focuses his practice on insurance law and civil and professional liability, and handles a variety of commercial litigation files. His ability to research, analyze and synthesize enables him to offer his clients sound, practical advice on all their legal needs.
Prior to joining the firm, Anthony had the opportunity to acquire related skills that are now useful in his practice. First, he did a student internship as a page at the National Assembly of Québec, an experience that taught him about the workings of the province’s parliamentary institutions. At the same time, he worked as an agent for an insurance company, where he acquired a thorough understanding of property and casualty insurance contracts in Québec. He also worked as a law student in a litigation department specialized in privacy and personal information.
During his university studies, Anthony stood out for his excellent academic results, which earned him a place on the Honour Roll of Université Laval’s Faculty of Law. He also worked as a research assistant in contract law, helping to update a reference work on contract law and civil liability in Québec.
Anthony loves sports and serves on the board of Club de Soccer Lévis-Est. Wishing to offer guidance to upcoming lawyers, he has provided student mentoring through the undergraduate law students’ support centre at Université Laval. Today, he is actively involved in student recruitment at the firm.
He practises law in French and English.
