Rachel Camiré
LawyerRachel Camiré focuses her practice on insurance law and civil and professional liability. Her clientele consists mainly of professionals, insurers and businesses, which she represents before various Québec decision-making bodies, in both French and English. She regularly represents insurers in subrogatory proceedings, and defends insurers and their insureds in a variety of disputes. The variety of files in which she has acted has led her to appreciate the need to be both versatile and creative in order to develop legal solutions tailored to her clients’ needs.
Rachel became keenly interested in oratory even before entering the legal profession. This interest led her to be a speaker at a TEDx event and to represent Université Laval’s Faculty of Law at the 42nd edition of the Pierre-Basile-Mignault Moot Court Competition.
In addition, during her studies, she acted as coordinator on the Université Laval's Lawyers Without Borders Committee. She currently sits on the board of directors of two non-profit organizations offering support for people in vulnerable situations.
