Emmanuelle Atongfor focuses her practice on corporate and commercial law, as well as corporate governance. She advises organizations at various stages of their development, particularly in matters involving mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, and governance-related mandates. She also assists with the drafting and negotiation of a wide range of commercial agreements, always adopting a rigorous approach aligned with her clients’ business objectives.

Recognized for her intellectual rigour and writing skills, Emmanuelle earned first place in the health law essay competition organized by the Université de Montréal chapter of Pro Bono Students Canada and was awarded the Best Constitutional Law Essay Prize by the Canadian Bar Association. She now leverages these strengths to provide her clients with clear, well-structured legal advice that is perfectly tailored to their complex business challenges.

Throughout her career, Emmanuelle has gained significant practical experience within in-house legal teams and public sector institutions, including the National Student Ombudsman and the Administrative Labour Tribunal. These experiences have allowed her to navigate in diverse regulatory environments and develop a pragmatic, results-driven approach. She also served as a program coordinator for Pro Bono Students Canada, demonstrating her commitment to access to justice.
