Beyond coffee: Langlois guides Brûlerie Rousseau through family business succession

Langlois Lawyers is proud to have assisted Québec City-based Brûlerie Rousseau in completing the succession of the family-owned business. Our clients were assisted by the firm’s business law group at every stage of this milestone transaction.

Managed by partner Vincent Plante and Valérie-C. Bégin, the succession process sought to secure the long-term future of the company and ensure a smooth transition from owners Claude Dupuis and Guylaine Carrier to their son, Jacob Dupuis, and his business partner, Jean-François Lessard.

Founded in 1867, Brûlerie Rousseau is the oldest roasting house in Québec City and had been owned and operated by Mr. Claude Dupuis and Mrs. Guylaine Carrier since 2006. It currently has 5 locations throughout Québec City.

Langlois, proudly celebrating the next generation of local entrepreneurship!
