A New Club in Montréal for Innovative Businesses

Our partner, William D. Hart, has enthusiastically agreed to become a founding member of IE-Club Canada.

The launching of this bold new initiative will take place next Thursday, March 27 at 6:00 p.m. at a combined cocktail reception and conference where several panellists from major organizations will engage in a discussion centred on the theme “How large-scale businesses view their relationships with small to mid-sized businesses and share their innovation strategies?”  The discussion will be geared primarily towards providing practical advice to entrepreneurs. Adam Peters, President and CEO of Air Liquide Canada – Charles Gagnon, Director of Technology Business Development at Hydro-Québec’s Research Institute – Hélène Seguinotte, President and CEO of Morpho Canada, a subsidiary of Safran – René Desmarais, Senior Vice-President, Parcels, Canada Post – Jean-Francois Gagnon, President and founder of LVL Studio, and Thierry Pagé, founder and CEO of Odotech, will both moderate and speak at the conference.

IE-Club, a not-for-profit organization, is an association of professionals working directly or indirectly in the area of innovative technologies.  It offers a forum where large-scale businesses and investors can meet the leaders of innovative SMBs and work together on future projects. Founded in Paris in the year 2000, IE-Club has expanded its activities to Tel Aviv, Boston and now Montreal, affording its members access to a transatlantic business network.
