Sara Kurani

Sara Kurani’s practice focuses on administrative investigations, mediation, and workplace dispute prevention and resolution. As a lawyer, Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP), and accredited mediator, she helps organizations prevent psychological harassment and sexual violence in the workplace, and manage and resolve workplace conflicts. Drawing on her dual legal and organizational perspective, she approaches sensitive situations with rigour, empathy, and pragmatism, proposing solutions tailored to the particular realities of each workplace.

For six years she practised at a Montréal boutique law firm specializing in alternative dispute resolution, where she conducted administrative investigations, carried out mediation and facilitation mandates, and helped clients prevent and resolve workplace disputes. As such, she acted for government and public-sector organizations at both provincial and federal levels in sensitive and complex labour relations matters. Throughout her practice, she developed an in-depth understanding of the human and organizational factors that influence dispute prevention and resolution.

More recently, she served as Human Resources Manager for a UK-based retail company, where she managed labour relations, handled internal complaints, and advised leadership on various strategic HR matters. This international experience gave her a practical understanding of the challenges employers face and further sharpened her dispute resolution expertise.
