Amélie Simard

Amélie Simard focuses her practice on commercial litigation, mainly in banking law, and assists experienced lawyers in bankruptcy and insolvency cases.

She is appreciated for her dynamic energy and professionalism, as well as her efficiency and methodical approach. Amélie is passionate about new financial technologies such as cryptoassets. She is constantly working to broaden and refine her knowledge about this changing sector.

She was actively involved in various student associations throughout her university studies, and stood out for her participation in the Laskin Moot Court competition. While completing Bar School, she worked as a research assistant at the financial services law laboratory (LABFI) and pursued her professional development through graduate courses on financial technologies.

With a Bachelor’s degree in public affairs and international relations, Amélie also has a solid understanding of economic and political issues, which informs her strategic approach to law.
