Recognized as one of Canada’s leading labour and employment lawyers, Jasmin Marcotte advises employers on a wide range of issues related to the management of their human capital, including employment contracts, labour standards, dismissals and compensation, psychological harassment in the workplace, absenteeism, and the negotiation, application and interpretation of collective agreements. His multidisciplinary practice also includes human rights and privacy matters.

He works primarily with clients in the manufacturing, industrial, hospitality and education sectors, in addition to professional and financial services firms, public transportation agencies, and shipping companies. He is regularly called upon to represent employers in the private and public sectors, both provincial and federal, before the courts and administrative bodies in matters including certification proceedings, the transfer of rights and obligations between employers, and grievances arising from collective agreements.

Jasmin is also a popular trainer for employers as well as a sought-after speaker on topical issues related to labour and employment law.
