Sébastien Gobeil is known for his in-depth experience in labour and employment law, and his reputation in labour relations and occupational health and safety is well established. He has proven expertise in grievance arbitration, the negotiation and interpretation of collective agreements, psychological harassment in the workplace, and workplace accidents. He also acts in public and administrative law cases, notably in constitutional matters.

His clients rely on his expertise in all matters relating to employment law, including labour standards, terminations, non-compete clauses, confidentiality obligations, individual employment contracts, and employment injuries. Sébastien represents clients before arbitration boards and higher courts.

He is regularly called upon to deliver lectures and training sessions to employers on a variety of labour law topics, including psychological harassment, managing absenteeism, and last chance agreements.
