Séléna Flores-Desrochers

Séléna Flores Desrochers practises in the Labour and Employment Law group, working on a wide range of files in individual and collective workplace relations, labour standards and conflicts, disciplinary measures, human rights and freedoms, and the stages in the employment relationship. She is also interested in litigation and administrative law, which help shape her perspective on the complex legal issues of today. With the experience she acquired at the CNESST as a paralegal and law student, she applies this expertise in analyzing penal files involving industrial accidents, prevention and inspections, and in administrative law matters, including occupational injuries and applications for review with administrative organizations.

During law school, Séléna represented her faculty in various moot courts, developing the advocacy skills that now strengthen her practice. Dedicated and hard-working, she stood out for her leadership and sustained community involvement, as shown by her many awards such as the AED bursary and the Université Laval law faculty’s Grand Maillet award. She played on AAA soccer teams up until university and remains very active, participating in half-marathons, a HYROX race, and trail running, where she won third place in a 2024 competition, showing the same discipline and steadiness she applies to her practice.
