Maria Barakat’s practice focuses mainly on employment law, as well as civil and commercial litigation.

Before joining the firm, Maria worked for a major Canadian financial institution on litigation and regulatory investigations files. She previously worked in Lebanon, where she played a key role in governance, compliance, and relations with financial supervisory authorities.
