With a practice focused on bankruptcy, restructuring, and insolvency, Elie represents a wide range of clients, including financial institutions, trustees, and monitors, as well as insolvent businesses. He also acts on behalf of buyers and administrators involved in corporate restructurings, mergers and acquisitions targeting distressed companies, and the liquidation of assets or bankruptcy proceedings.
Elie’s background in medical scientific research has played a pivotal role in shaping his analytical skills and critical thinking, skills which he now applies in his legal practice. His strategic mindset, combined to his creativity, enables him to support clients in the realization of security interests as well as in proceedings under the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act and the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act.
