Maria Barakat – Labour Law, Civil and Commercial Litigation
Before joining our team, Maria worked at a major Canadian financial institution, focusing on litigation files and regulatory investigations. She also previously practised law in Lebanon, where she played a key role in governance, compliance, and in liaising with financial regulatory authorities, areas that continue to fuel her professional passion. A polyglot (French, English, Arabic, and Italian), Maria is known for her ability to clearly explain complex legal issues and for her meticulous approach. Her rich international background and diverse experiences reflect her commitment to excellence and continuous development.
Andréa Nicolò – Business Law
With a wide range of interests, Andréa primarily focuses her practice on transactional, commercial and corporate law. Leveraging her previous experience in entrepreneurial environments, she has developed a strong business acumen and a deep understanding of commercial and organizational challenges, allowing her to transform complex legal issues into practical and strategic solutions.
