The 56th edition of the Journées dentaires internationales du Québec (North America’s largest bilingual dental conference) will be held at the Palais des congrès convention centre in Montréal from May 29 to June 2, 2026.
Our colleague Audrey Gagnon will be among the featured experts. On June 1, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., she will take part in the session Investigations and expert assessments: dissecting a few case studies.
The daily practice of dentistry comes with its share of challenges, particularly when it comes to managing patient claims. During this session, investigators from the professional liability insurance fund of the Ordre des dentistes du Québec (Québec’s order of dentists) will present real-world cases and shed light on the key elements that raise questions in the course of their investigations and expert assessments.
An interactive quiz will energize the session and draw attention to the issues most frequently at the heart of disputes, particularly in the areas of fixed dental prosthetics, implantology, surgery, and orthodontics. With Audrey’s participation, attendees will leave better equipped to identify pitfalls to avoid and navigate the essential legal principles underpinning proactive, effective claims management.
