Business Transfers Demystified at Langlois lawyers Conference
People in business circles in Montréal, Quebec City and Lévis were able to learn more about the transfer of a business, at a conference organized by Langlois lawyers held on November 1st and 8th.
During the conference participants had the opportunity to discuss with Isabelle Toupin, a partner in the firm’s business law group, Sébastien Jacques and Mathieu Vaillancourt, partners at Ernst & Young, regarding tax considerations, valuation methods, due diligence aspects, and the various legal documents that are useful or necessary for the successful transfer of a business.
