Raynold Langlois to Receive a “Prix Justitia” Award

Montréal, April 23rd, 2014 – Raynold Langlois, a partner at Langlois Kronström Desjardins (LKD), is to receive a “Prix Justitia” award from Laval University’s Faculty of Law. The awards ceremony will be held this coming May 15 at 5:30 p.m. in the Atrium of the university’s Charles-De Koninck Pavillion as part of the annual cocktail reception for graduates of the Law Faculty.

A preeminent litigator and strategic business adviser, Raynold is ranked one of the top 25 litigators in Canada by LEXPERT magazine. In May 2008 he was awarded the title “Avocat émérite” by the Québec Bar in recognition of his exceptional professional career.

The “Prix Justitia” awards are conferred by Laval University’s Faculty of Law to graduates of the faculty who, in addition to having distinguished themselves professionally and through their commitment to society or the university, have contributed to enhancing the profile and reputation of the university’s Faculty of Law. The recipients of this second edition of the “Prix Justitia” awards are the following:  

  • Lise Malouin, a lawyer committed to women’s causes;
  • Pierre-Gabriel Jobin, professor emeritus;
  • Raynold Langlois, avocat émérite (Advocatus Emeritus).
