Montréal, August 17th, 2015 – Langlois Kronström Desjardins (LKD) is pleased to announce that two new partners, Reynald Auger and Sarto Veilleux are adding increased depth to the firm by joining its Quebec City office.
Since his admission to the Bar, Reynald Auger has focussed his practice on banking litigation, commercial litigation and real estate law. He has significant experience in the area of security for indebtedness, and acts in such matters for several Quebec financial institutions and bankruptcy trustees. He has also amassed considerable expertise in litigation involving professional liability and directors’ and officers’ liability. He appears on behalf of his clients before various first-instance and appellate courts, including the Supreme Court of Canada.
Sarto Veilleux’s practice is centred on labour law. He represents employers from the public and private sectors in both unionized and non-unionized environments. He has developed particular expertise in labour relations at the municipal level. He appears on a regular basis before civil courts and administrative tribunals. He also counsels his clientele of employers on the application and interpretation of labour statutes and collective agreements, and represents them in labour disputes and grievance arbitrations. In addition he has a thorough mastery of general civil law and commercial litigation.
