The Firm Names Two New Partners

Montréal, January 13, 2015 – Dominic Fiset and Éric Savard have been named partners of Langlois Kronström Desjardins (LKD) in recognition of the outstanding quality of the service and advice they provide their respective clients.

Before joining LKD’s labour and education law group in 2012, Dominic Fiset worked for seven years as a lawyer and labour relations counsellor for the Fédération des commissions scolaires du Québec, a federation of Quebec school boards. He thereby acquired in-depth knowledge of compensation and benefit plans, the disciplinary process and staff turnover issues. He also was responsible for managing several files involving disability and occupational injury.

A litigator specializing in insolvency and restructuring, Éric Savard frequently represents financial institutions, bankruptcy trustees and small to mid-sized businesses, providing them with both strategic and legal advice. In the course of his practice he has also become an expert in real security, real estate law and construction law.

“Dominic Fiset and Éric Savard are two highly talented lawyers whose respective expertise has proved invaluable to our clients. It is therefore high time they became partners of LKD and I am extremely pleased to welcome them as such”, stated Jean-François Gagnon, the firm’s managing partner.
