Langlois Welcomes Lawyer Félix Bernard to Its Business Law Group

Montréal, March 14, 2017 – Langlois Lawyers is pleased to announce that Félix Bernard has joined its Business Law group in its Montréal office, where he will focus on corporate and commercial law and securities matters.

Felix’s expertise is primarily transactional and involves complex mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations as well as venture capital and private equity financing. Félix is also frequently involved in the negotiation and drafting of commercial agreements, particularly in the technology field. 

His practice also involves public debt and equity financing of TSX-V listed corporations, as well as advising public companies on their regulatory obligations related to securities and corporate governance matters. 

Félix was called to the Québec Bar in 2014 after having obtained a law degree (Dean’s List) from the Université Laval (Québec). He also holds a Master of Laws (with Merit) from the London School of Economics and Political Science, with a specialization in corporate law and securities regulation. He is a member and secretary of the board of directors of the Fondation le Pont vers l’Autonomie, which provides financial support to individuals suffering from various neuro-muscular disorders that have a significant impact on their motor functions and autonomy through the purchase of robotic assistance arms.
