Quebec City, May 8, 2012 – Law firm Langlois Kronström Desjardins ranks second among the top ten full-service regional law firms in Quebec, according to a survey conducted by Canadian Lawyer magazine, the results of which are published in its May edition. This is the second time that Langlois Kronström Desjardins has achieved this distinction: the firm was given the same ranking in 2010, the last time the survey was conducted.
Canadian Lawyer surveyed lawyers and in-house corporate counsel from across Canada to obtain their assessment of regional firms in Quebec offering a full range of legal services. Respondents were asked to grade a list of ten firms in order of importance, with the possibility of adding other firms to the list.
The assessment criteria used by the respondents included the range of services offered, the client base, the size of mandates, the quality of service and level of legal expertise.
The firms targeted by the survey had to have the majority of their offices in Quebec and offer a wide range of legal services. The final ranking was determined through a system of points awarded according to the number of votes obtained by each firm.
