Julie Belley Perron, an Expert in Energy and Environmental Issues, Joins Langlois

Montréal, September 5, 2017 – Langlois Lawyers is pleased to announce that Julie Belley Perron will be joining the firm in its Montréal office as a partner and a member of its business law team.

An experienced practitioner

Julie has practiced business law for more than 13 years and specializes in environmental issues and energy projects. She can assist clients in all stages of project development, from contract negotiations and financing, through to the environmental authorization and permitting stage. She also advises clients on their contractual obligations, the implementation of compliance systems and on governmental relations. 

Julie is a member of the Hydraulic Commission of the Quebec Renewable Energy Association (AQPER). In 2017 she was awarded the WiRE (Women in Renewable Energy) Women of Distinction Award. 

Before joining Langlois Lawyers she was Director, Legal Affairs-Operations at Kruger Energy Inc., a position she held for eight years. Prior to that, she practiced for five years at a major national law firm, primarily in the area of mergers and acquisitions.
