Lawyer - Montréal
Gabrielle Turcotte-Fraser is a lawyer in the business law group in Langlois lawyers’ Montréal office. She works on a wide variety of files involving in particular construction law, energy law, environmental law and real estate law.
She joined Langlois lawyers in March 2019 after completing her articles and first year of practice at a boutique firm specializing in international commercial law, and subsequently worked for two years as a legal advisor on one of the largest construction sites in North America. Her involvement in the project’s management and operations allowed her to develop competencies in public-private partnerships for infrastructure projects, as well as in construction law and commercial law. While advising on the above-mentioned project she was called upon to participate in the management of the principal contract with the federal government, draft a wide array of commercial agreements, take part in preparing major arbitration and claims files and provide legal advice to various teams of professionals involved in the project’s performance. Gabrielle has also been involved in asset management, particularly regarding the acquisition, lease and sale of equipment, assessing risks inherent in a construction project and managing builder’s risk insurance projects.
She carries on her practice in English and in French.
