Director, Legal Talent - Montréal and Quebec City
Léna Taylor is Director, Legal Talent for both the Montréal and Quebec City offices, and is responsible for all aspects of the firm’s professional development program for lawyers. She works closely with the management team to devise legal talent development and retention strategies, in line with the firm’s values, which include excellence, entrepreneurship and happiness in the workplace.
To that end she designs and implements programs related to talent management, professional skills development, and coaching and mentoring for lawyers, articling students and law students. She also participates in performance and compensation reviews. In addition, she supervises the firm’s student programs and takes part in student and lateral recruitment.
Before joining Langlois Lawyers, Léna was Director, Professional Development and Training at a national law firm for more than five years and Director, Student Programs (Quebec Region) at another national law firm for almost seven years. Prior to that, she practiced business law in Montréal and for international law firms in Paris and London.
