Bernard Roy is a partner in the Quebec City office of Langlois lawyers. He focuses his practice in the areas of taxation, business law as well as the protection and transmission of estates and assets.
Bernard’s primary areas of activity include representation before the courts, negotiation of notices of assessment and draft assessments with tax authorities, tax and estate planning, estate settlement, testamentary and inter vivos trusts as well as providing income tax advice.
He began his career in 1987 with the legislative branch of Revenu Québec. Since 1991, he has worked in private practice in taxation.

Retrospective 2018 | 10 Successes for Langlois’ Transactional Group
In 2018 Langlois was the law firm of choice of several major organizations for their mergers & acquisitions-related transactions. The transactional group at Langlois assisted important groups of businesses as well as foreign multinationals with several major projects, including strategic acquisitions, financings and equity investments. It was an interesting and active year rich in challenges for Langlois’ transactional group!
