Jonathan Poulin is a lawyer in the business law group in Langlois lawyers’ Montréal office.
He specializes in commercial law as well as in corporate governance. He assists his clients in drafting critical agreements in mergers and acquisitions and also advises them on matters involving governmental affairs and lobbyism.
Jonathan has developed an expertise in the legal and regulatory framework governing the cannabis industry in Quebec and in Canada and he advises cannabis producers with the licensing process.
He is also interested in international trade agreements and has an extensive knowledge of the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) between Canada and the European Union. He is part of the firm’s France-Canada team and assists Canadian and European investors.
Jonathan joined Langlois lawyers in the summer of 2016 as a law student and completed his articles at the firm in 2017. He graduated in civil law from the University of Ottawa and holds a Juris doctor degree from the University of Montreal.

Since 2017, Langlois lawyers has been representing an enterprise in connection with the acquisition of property in Quebec, in a location west of Montreal, for the cultivation of organic medical marijuana and the development of production facilities.
