Étienne Lacoursière practises commercial and corporate law in the business law group. He provides strategic and business advice to clients in a variety of sectors. Étienne guides and supports multidisciplinary teams in complex matters. He advises on a wide range of legal questions, has a broad understanding of organizational issues and recommends concrete solutions for his clients and their partners. Étienne also negotiates and drafts commercial agreements of all kinds.

Prior to joining Langlois, Étienne worked with a leading national firm and, for over a decade, held a number of positions, including Director of Legal Affairs, at a Montréal-based multinational food company. Through his experience in both private practice and corporate settings, he has acquired diverse knowledge, broad expertise and developed keen business acumen. Prior to studying law, Étienne earned a degree in business administration at École des Hautes Études Commerciales in Montréal.

Over the years, Étienne has participated in fundraising campaigns and sporting events to collect funds for various causes, including Centraide, the Grand Défi Pierre Lavoie, the Sainte-Justine UHC Foundation Winter Triathlon, Movember, Hockey Helps the Homeless, the Walk to Cure Diabetes for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and Pedal for Kids for the Montréal Children’s Hospital Foundation.

Having worked in Quebec and served American clients for many years, he is at ease advising his clients in both French and English.
