Samuel Gagnon is a partner in Langlois Lawyers’ Quebec City office. He practices primarily in the areas of insurance law and civil and professional liability.

His oral advocacy skills have also been recognized on several occasions, including at the mooting competition organized by the Young Bar of Quebec City, at which he won the “Rabat d’Or” prize for best pleader in 2017.

Samuel is also involved internationally for the protection of the human rights of individuals in vulnerable situations. In 2018-2019, he volunteered with Lawyers Without Borders Canada for a year as a legal advisor in Haiti as part of the Access to Justice and Fight Against Impunity project. Until recently, he was involved in the implementation of this project.

In 2015 Samuel received the Hommage du Lieutenant-gouverneur award, bestowed annually by the Quebec Bar to a newly admitted lawyer. The award was in recognition of his excellent academic results, the richness of his curriculum vitæ, and his dedicated commitment to the community, society and university and professional life.

Samuel practices law in both English and French.
