Pascale De Meyer is a litigation practitioner at Langlois lawyers in Montreal.

She acts in civil and commercial litigation matters involving insurance law, professional liability, construction law and railway law. Creative and pragmatic, she defends the interests of a broad range of private and institutional clients including real estate promoters, contractors, subcontractors, banks and other financial institutions.

Before joining Langlois Lawyers, Pascale De Meyer worked as in-house counsel for a federal railway corporation. In that capacity she advised the corporation on various matters including operations, marketing,  access to information, risk management and project development. She also negotiated major contracts on behalf of the corporation, and represented it in regulatory proceedings before the Canadian Transportation Agency. Her experience in that position has given her in-depth knowledge and expertise regarding the contractual and regulatory aspects of railway law.

Pascale appears before all levels of the courts, as well as before regulatory tribunals and commercial arbitration tribunals.

Represented corporations before the courts in the context of major transactions pursuant to plans of arrangement under Quebec’s Business Corporations Act and the Canada Business Corporations Act.

Represented professionals before the Courts in civil liability proceedings.
