Pascale De Meyer

Pascale De Meyer is a litigation lawyer at Langlois lawyers’ Montréal office.
She possesses varied experience in civil and commercial litigation and acts in matters involving insurance law, professional liability, construction law and transportation law. She defends the interests of a wide range of private and institutional clients, including insurance companies, insurance funds, real estate promoters, contractors and financial institutions. In the course of her practice, Pascale appears before all levels of the courts, as well as before arbitration tribunals.
Before joining Langlois lawyers, Pascale worked as in-house counsel for a federal railway corporation. In this position, she was responsible for drafting and negotiating major contracts relating to the transport of goods, as well as the construction of railway infrastructure and the development of commercial projects. She also represented the company in mediations and arbitration hearings before the Canadian Transportation Agency. Her experience in that position gave her in-depth knowledge and expertise regarding transportation law as well as contractual and regulatory matters.

Represented corporations before the courts in the context of major transactions pursuant to plans of arrangement under Quebec’s Business Corporations Act and the Canada Business Corporations Act.
Represented professionals before the Courts in civil liability proceedings.
