Marie-Claude de Grandpré is a partner in the litigation group at Langlois Lawyers’ Montréal office. She works in civil and commercial litigation, particularly in construction and insurance law, focusing on civil and professional liability.

She is an excellent litigator before the courts yet, when circumstances permit,  she will not hesitate to advise her clients to consider alternative dispute resolution methods.

She defends insurance companies and insured parties with respect to civil claims and takes action for the insurers in subrogation recourses. Under construction law, she represents the interests of general contractors and building owners in disputes arising within the scope of a construction contract.

She holds a Juris Doctor in North American Common Law from the Université de Montréal and a degree in civil law from the University of Ottawa. She also completed a semester at the Faculty of Law, University of Montpellier I, in France.
