Yann Canneva is a lawyer and trademark agent in Langlois Lawyers’ Montréal office. He handles a wide variety of intellectual property matters including managing trademark, industrial design and copyright portfolios and the registration of such rights. He is specialized in implementing strategies for the acquisition, protection and defence of intellectual property rights, as well as in IP litigation.

Yann also practises commercial and corporate law, advising clients on intellectual property issues linked to transactions and contract negotiations.

He first completed studies at HEC Montréal in 2009, majoring in Finance. In 2007, he studied business administration in France through an exchange program at IAE Aix-en-Provence. He then attended the Université de Montréal where he studied law.

Before joining Langlois, Yann spent seven years, practising at a regional boutique law firm specialized in intellectual property and civil and commercial litigation.

Yann is a member of the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada (IPIC) and of the International Trademark Association (INTA).
