Julie Belley Perron

Julie Belley Perron is a partner in the business law group at Langlois lawyers in Montréal. She specializes in the negotiation and drafting of a variety of commercial contracts, in environmental law, and in the development and implementation of energy projects.
She assists clients in all stages of project development, from contract negotiation and financing, to environmental authorization processes and permitting. She also advises clients on their contractual obligations, the implementation of compliance systems and on governmental relations.
Before joining Langlois lawyers, Julie was the director of legal affairs and operations at a major renewable energy producer. In that capacity she managed complex projects, identified business and legal issues, and assessed risks. She participated in preparing and implementing asset-management processes to ensure adequate monitoring of various enterprise-specific operational issues.
Over the years she has become an excellent risk-management and compliance counsellor.
Julie also practiced for more than five years at a major national law firm in the area of mergers and acquisitions.
