AndréAnne Fortin practises civil and commercial litigation. She focuses her practice on complex litigation involving commercial law issues, as well as corporate and securities matters. She also practises in bankruptcy and insolvency.

With her keen business sense, AndréAnne represents companies and shareholders before the courts, including in oppression remedies, plans of arrangement, regulatory inquiries by the Autorité des marchés publics, extraordinary remedies, corporate reorganizations, corporate governance and pension plan issues.

In addition to her law degree, AndréAnne holds an MBA, making her ideally placed to understand the complex realities of the business world and to offer sound advice to companies that use her services. She clerked with the Honourable Guy Gagnon at the Québec Court of Appeal, which enabled her to quickly acquire a keen understanding of court operations and judicial reality.

AndréAnne graduated from law school on the Dean’s list for her excellent results. She has also received numerous scholarships for academic excellence in both law and business administration. In particular, she received a scholarship to study abroad, which enabled her to complete her MBA at the Instituto Panamericano de Alta Dirección de Empresa (IPADE) and develop a good knowledge of Spanish.
