Caroline Briand, an expert in Aboriginal law, chooses Langlois Lawyers

We are pleased to announce that Caroline Briand has joined the firm as a partner. Caroline specializes in aboriginal law, constitutional law and administrative law within the litigation group in Montréal.

Ms. Briand has been practicing Aboriginal and constitutional law since the beginning. She is passionate about the history, legal and social concerns of the aboriginal peoples in Canada. Over the course of her practice, she has developed a very thorough knowledge of the aboriginal environment and issues. She advises governments, organizations, aboriginal citizens and the businesses that partner with them.

A member of the Québec, Ontario and Nunavut Bars, Caroline Briand also practices administrative law as well as professional and disciplinary law. As part of her administrative law practice, Caroline advises and represents professional orders and other regulatory bodies, particularly in the context of judicial reviews and governance issues. She also advises and assists organizations and institutions in all matters related to sexual violence and discrimination.
