Marianne Plamondon is specialized in labour and employment law, with a particular focus on the interpretation and application of collective agreements, occupational health and safety, workplace psychological harassment, privacy, pay equity, employment insurance and human rights and freedoms. She has also intervened in several cases relating to collective and individual labour relations and disputes over dismissals without just and reasonable cause. She has gained extensive experience in the civil courts over the years, namely with regards to employment contract non-compete obligations and employees’ duty of loyalty.

In addition, Marianne is frequently interviewed by the media on a variety of topics dealing with labour and employment law and more specifically this year on issues related to cannabis in the workplace.
