Product Risk

Business risks are the very basis of insurance contracts, but these contracts are still subject to many exclusions and gaps in coverage related to business risks. Liability policy exclusions for damage caused by the products of an insured often require an interpretation of how they apply in connection with the loss that has arisen.

The Langlois Lawyers team is familiar with exclusions relating to business and product risks. Some exclusions are specifically worded. In other situations, however, the claim is not covered by the insurance, which differs from a surety contract. We are here to assist you in making these distinctions. Interpretation issues are common and should be revisited after every incident and contract.
