Pierre-Luc Desgagné Comments in Les Affaires About the Inclusion of Women on Boards of Directors

Pierre-Luc Desgagné, a partner at Langlois lawyers, was interviewed on International Women’s Day by journalist Diane Bérard of Les Affaires, about the issue of gender parity following the 10th anniversary of the Act respecting the Governance of State-owned Enterprises.

At Hydro, whenever an employee expressed the desire for new challenges, Pierre-Luc quoted the three t’s of success: talent, work (travail) and timing. “Women who have the talent to become directors are not lacking”, he stated. “And they are ready to work hard. As for timing, you have to know how to recognise it and provoke it. You have to raise your hand.”
