Langlois Chooses Lévis For Its Third Office

Montréal, May 31, 2016 – Langlois lawyers enthusiastically announces the opening of its new office in Lévis. The firm’s third place of business, which will be operating as of June 1st, will be a convenient service location for its clients in and around the City of Lévis, and will allow them to seamlessly benefit as well from the expertise of its lawyers in the firm’s Quebec City and Montréal offices.

A thriving market
The eighth-largest city in Québec with a population of more than 140,000 and experiencing economic growth at the rate of 1,000 new jobs a year, Lévis is a thriving business and industrial centre. By opening an office there, Langlois will be in closer proximity to a number of long-standing clients, including the City of Lévis, its public transit authority and the head office of the Desjardins Group. “The addition of this third service location was a priority for Langlois. We already had a long-established presence in the area, but wanted to be even more accessible to our clients in Lévis and the surrounding area, and to consolidate our services offering on the South Shore of the St. Lawrence near Quebec City, which is also booming economically”, stated Jean-François Gagnon, the firm’s managing partner.

On familiar ground
The Lévis team includes Sarto Veilleux and Reynald Auger, both residents of Lévis. A labour law practitioner with more than 15 years experience, Sarto Veilleux advises and represents employers in the public and private sectors with both unionized and non-unionized employees. For his part, Reynald Auger has extensive expertise in the law of security on property, accumulated over the course of a more than 30-year career, which benefits his clientele composed of a sizeable number of Québec financial institutions. Both of these senior lawyers are actively involved in the local community, notably with the Chamber of Commerce, Travail Jeunesse (a youth employment organization), and Centre de Robotique et de Vision industrielles (an industrial robotics and artificial vision centre). They will be joined in the new office by other seasoned lawyers including Marie-Ève Malenfant and Maxime Chouinard. Together they are poised to offer the complete range of services provided by Langlois lawyers.

The address of the new office is:
Édifice Maurice-Tanguay
1610 Alphonse-Desjardins Blvd.
Suite 500
Lévis QC  G6V 0H1
