Julie Belley Perron Quoted in an Article on Energy Law in Online Daily Les Affaires

The environmental-law and energy-law expertise of Julie Belley Perron, a partner in the business law group, was called upon recently in connection with the preparation of an article on how to improve energy efficiency (“Trois conseils pour améliorer son efficacité énergétique”) in which she explains the changes made to Quebec’s cap-and-trade system for greenhouse gas emission allowances (SPEDE). 

As she explains in the article, with the opening in 2018 of the SPEDE carbon market to enterprises that emit 10,000 to 25,000 tons of CO₂, there will be increased interest in more efficient energy management.
