Jean Patrick has been named a director and secretary of the CEGQ, an association dedicated to defending the collective interests of general contractors, which has just joined forces with other such associations across Canada to form the General Contractors Alliance of Canada (GCAC).
He has agreed to take on this challenge, assisting GECQ chair Pierre Boisvert of the firm Les Constructions Béland & Lapointe, after being involved with the GECQ for some 15 years as an associate member and conference presenter, including at the association’s 21st annual convention held February 21 to 23, 2018 in Quebec City.
“By associating with the GECQ’s members all these years I have acquired the necessary skill set for effectively practising my profession, and I’ve built a client base whom I am proud of and admire”, states Jean Patrick. “My role as lawyer and strategic advisor requires me to attentively listen to and understand their issues and concerns, in order to make an active contribution to the success of this great industry, which I intend to continue doing with my esteemed colleagues in carrying out my new duties as director and secretary.”
