Lauréanne Allen

Lauréanne Allen is a paralegal in the business law group in the Quebec City office of Langlois Lawyers. She assists lawyers with financings, and participates in drafting credit agreements and other documents such as subordination agreements and powers of attorney, and performs searches in conjunction with the cancellation of registered security interests and other rights.

She also performs searches in various computerized registers, including corporate registers, the Register of Personal and Movable Real Rights, bankruptcy registers, court dockets and Federal Court registers, for the purpose of analyzing the results and preparing search reports.

Lauréanne also supports the firm’s corporate lawyers in preparing the documents required for the incorporation and organization of corporations. She drafts amendments to the articles of incorporation, as well as continuances, dissolutions and documents for the extra-provincial registration of corporations. She also reviews corporate status and updates minute books and corporate records. In addition, she assists in preparing closing documents, contracts and resolutions pertaining to the purchase and sale of assets, as well as tax and corporate reorganizations.
