Fellow in the Trial Lawyer Honorary Society of the Litigation Counsel of America 2018

Danielle Ferron Named a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America

Langlois Lawyers is pleased to announce that Danielle Ferron, Ad. E., a partner in the firm’s litigation group and co-chair of its board of directors, has been named a Fellow of the Trial Lawyer Honorary Society of the Litigation Counsel of America (LCA).

The LCA is a trial lawyer honorary society whose membership is limited to less than one-half of one percent of North American lawyers, judges and scholars. Fellowship in the LCA is highly selective and by invitation only. Fellows are selected based upon excellence and accomplishment in litigation, both at the trial and appellate levels, and superior ethical reputation.

Danielle practices in the area of civil and commercial litigation with a focus on complex commercial disputes, banking litigation, class actions, fraud, cybercrimes, intellectual property matters including piracy, injunctions, seizures before judgment and other extraordinary remedies, including Anton Piller and Norwich orders and Mareva injunctions. She is a co-author, together with Mathieu Piché-Messier and the Honourable Lawrence A. Poitras, former Chief Justice of the Superior Court of Quebec, of the legal treatise entitled “L’injonction et les ordonnances Anton Piller, Mareva et Norwich” published in 2009.  In 2014 she was selected by the prestigious association International Women Forum (IWF) as one of the 35 “2014-2015 Fellows” of its Leadership Foundation.

“The firm is thrilled by Danielle Ferron’s nomination as a Fellow of the Trial Lawyer Honorary Society of the Litigation Counsel of America. Through her high-level expertise in complex commercial litigation, the astute strategies she deploys on behalf of our clients, her remarkable oral advocacy skills and her adroitness at alternative dispute resolution, Danielle has made a significant contribution to the profession over her 25-year legal career. We heartily congratulate her!”, stated Jean-François Gagnon, chief executive officer of Langlois Lawyers.
