Daniel Baum, Lawyer at Langlois, Gives a Conference on Commercial Fraud

On September 14 and 15, Daniel Baum, a senior lawyer at Langlois, gave a conference at the Canadian Bar Association’s 13th National Insolvency Conference in St. John’s, Newfoundland. During the conference, top professionals from around the world presented on a wide range of thought-provoking topics relating to insolvency and restructuring. Daniel was a speaker on the panel on Investigating and Litigating Fraud. He notably addressed the advantages and limitations of certain equitable remedies in the context of commercial fraud and insolvency, such Norwich Pharmacal orders, Anton Piller orders and Mareva injunctions.
