Langlois Now Recognized in Two Practice Areas in the Chambers Canada 2018 Guide 

Montréal, October 30, 2017 – Langlois Lawyers is proud to announce that two of its lawyers have been listed in the 2018 edition of the prestigious Chambers Canada guide to the best lawyers and law firms in the Country. 

It should be noted that this year marks the first year in its history that the firm’s labour and employment law group has been so recognized. André Sasseville, a senior partner in the group, is described as “an ‘excellent trial lawyer’ who is ‘very experienced and very wise’. Clients are impressed by the quality of his work and note that ‘he’s good at the details’. He has many years’ experience in employment and labour matters and is particularly noted for his work as counsel in arbitration and mediation proceedings. Another senior partner of the firm, John O’Connor, is listed as one of the foremost lawyers in Canada in the area of Transportation: Shipping. A leading maritime law practitioner, John has extensive expertise in both international transport and marine insurance, particularly as regards P&I coverage, environmental liability, ship financing and marine casualties.
